The Nordic TSOs, facilitated by Nordic RCC, have today published the first Month-Ahead (M-1) Flow-based outage impact assessments for individual planned transmission outages through the Nordic Unavailability Collection System (NUCS).
These monthly publications, planned on Thursdays of last full week of each month, will provide market participants with an additional view of how planned outages may affect Flow-based capacity, complementing the existing NTC-based outage information. The results are indicative assessments based on the relevant Flow-based reference scenarios and should be interpreted accordingly.
For October 2026, a number of Svenska kraftnät (SvK) outages will not have an associated Flow-Based outage impact calculation. This is part of the initial implementation, and the process will progressively incorporate these outages as the methodology and process are further developed and improved.
