We are pleased to announce the publication of Nordic RCC’s reporting for 2025. For the first time, we are publishing two separate reports: the Annual Report 2025, which contains our financial statements, and the Activity Report 2025, which tells the broader story of our work through Management Review and Task Monitoring.
2025 was a year where we delivered new, valuable services, ensured stable daily operations, and initiated important work to improve efficiency – while continuing to strengthen resilience and information security in a more challenging risk landscape.
This year’s reporting is divided into two complementary publications:
Activity Report 2025 – an overview of Nordic RCC and our work through:
– Management Review, including a joint letter from our CEO and Chairperson; details of this year’s activities and key deliveries; information on our governance and organisation; our strategy and core values; and our key focus areas, such as information security, risk and compliance management, and sustainability reporting.
– Task Monitoring, presenting the 21 tasks/services we perform and implement and reporting on the outcome of our monitoring obligations under Article 46 of EU Regulation 2019/943.
Annual Report 2025 – our financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards (as adopted by the EU) and additional requirements under the Danish Financial Statements Act.
Milestones of 2025
With this year’s reporting, we hope you will get to know Nordic RCC better and see how our work supports security of supply and enabling the green energy transition through regional coordination and critical services to the Nordic Transmission System Operators (TSOs).
Most notably for 2025:
• We delivered system updates enabling the Nordic transition to 15-minute Market Time Unit (MTU), with go-lives in Intraday on 18 March and Day-ahead on 30 September.
• We launched Long-Term Flow-based Capacity Calculation (LTCC) in the Year-ahead timeframe on 31 October 2025, supporting improved transparency and earlier insights into cross-border capacity.
Achievements made in collaboration
We can only succeed in close collaboration with the Nordic TSOs, our ecosystem and our partners. Our achievements in 2025 are powered by the dedication and expertise of our employees and consultants and by strong Nordic coordination and collaboration.
