The Nordic RSC met with the Baltic RSC for an initial meeting establishing the basis for future close cooperation between the two regions. Closer cooperation will ensure that the RSC’s live up to the requirements in the Multilateral Agreement on Participation in Regional Security Coordination Initiatives signed by TSOs and ENTSO-E and will ensure greater security of electricity supply for both regions.
Both RSC’s are still in the project development phase where new learnings are constantly being developed. The kick-off meeting laid the groundwork for knowledge sharing on the development of key services, legal agreements and efficient regional communication.
